| Kodak Pakon F-135+ (Plus) | Yes |
| Kodak Pakon F-235, F-335 | No, they're different machines inside |
What you need
- A Pakon F-135 or F-135+ and its USB cable
- A Mac (macOS 13 or later), a Windows 10 or 11 PC, or a Linux PC (Ubuntu 24.04, Linux Mint 22)
- The free OpenPakon app. That's all: no Kodak software, no Windows XP.
Then follow the guide to your first scan.
Questions
F-135 or F-135+: which should I buy?
For OpenPakon, either one. Both work with the same app on Mac, Windows and Linux, so pick on price and condition.
Do I need different software for the F-135+?
No. It's the same app for both. OpenPakon recognises which scanner you've plugged in.
Does it work with the F-235 or F-335?
No. They're different machines inside and aren't supported.
Do I need anything from Kodak?
No. You don't need Kodak's software, driver or a Windows XP PC. Just the scanner, its USB cable and your computer.
